To set up your Microsoft Outlook 2010 client to work with Izoox email using the POP3 protocol (default method):

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2010.
  2. Click File from the menu bar, click Info and click Add Account.
  3. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
  4. Select Internet E-mail and click Next.
  5. Mail Settings:
    • Under the User Information section, enter Your Name and full E-mail Address.
    • Under the Server Information section, set the Account Type to POP3, enter your domain's mail server (typically mail.{your domain name}) for both Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server.
    • Under the Logon Information section, enter your full email address for the User Name and then your Password.
    • Uncheck the Test account settings by clicking the Next button option.
  6. Click More Settings... and then click the Outgoing Server tab:
    • Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
    • Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
  7. Click the Advanced tab:
    • Under the Server Port Numbers section, verify Incoming Mail is set to 110.
    • Verify Outgoing Mail is set to 25. If your ISP blocks port 25 set this to 587 otherwise leave 25 as the default.
    • Verify the Use the following type of encrypted connection options are set to None.
    • Click OK.
  8. Click Next and then click Finish.
