Microsoft Outlook 2000
To set up your Microsoft Outlook 2000 client to work with Izoox email using the POP3 protocol (default method):
- Open Microsoft Outlook 2000.

Click Tools from the menu bar and select Accounts...

Click the Mail tab and then click Add and select Mail....

Enter the Display Name then click Next.

Enter the full Email Address then click Next.

Select POP3 from the dropdown. Enter your domain's mail server (typically mail.{your domain name}) for both Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Click Next.

Enter your full email address for the Account Name and then your Password. Click Next.

Choose how you would like to connect to the Internet to retrieve your mail (typically it will be to Connect using my local area network) and click Next.

Click Finish.

Click the Mail tab and select your newly created email address and then click Properties.

Click the Servers tab and under the Outgoing Mail Server section, check My server requires authentication.

Click the Advanced tab.
- Under the Server Port Numbers section, verify Outgoing Mail is set to 25. If your ISP blocks port 25 set this to 587 otherwise leave 25 as the default.
- Verify Incoming Mail is set to 110.
- Verify the This server requires a secure connection (SSL) options are not checked.
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
