To set up your Microsoft Outlook 2007 client to work with Izoox email using the POP3 protocol (default method):

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2007.
  2. Click Tools from the menu bar and select Email Accounts...
  3. Click the E-mail and click New....
  4. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
  5. Select Internet E-mail and click Next.
  6. Mail Settings:
    • Under the User Information section, enter Your Name and full E-mail Address.
    • Under the Server Information section, set the Account Type to POP3, enter your domain's mail server (typically mail.{your domain name}) for both Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server.
    • Under the Logon Information section, enter your full email address for the User Name and then your Password.
  7. Click More Settings... and then click the Outgoing Server tab:
    • Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
    • Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
  8. Click the Advanced tab:
    • Under the Server Port Numbers section, verify Incoming Mail is set to 110.
    • Verify Outgoing Mail is set to 25. If your ISP blocks port 25 set this to 587 otherwise leave 25 as the default.
    • Verify the Use the following type of encrypted connection options are set to None.
    • Click OK.
  9. Click Next and then click Finish.
  10. Click Close.
